When I saw the bus leave today I had to take a moment alone. You know when that wave of emotion comes so fast and you just HAVE to give in. Walking away to get into the truck while he was getting in that bus and not watching it was so easy. However watching the bus drive away was a completely different story. I feel at this moment that imagine will be burned into my mind along with any other time he has to leave like that. He is about to go through hell and all I can do is write letters and hope it keeps his spirits up if they go down. I have about 2 weeks till I actually get to receive my first letter though.
When I went to my mom's office after dropping him off EVERYONE that works at the court house had to ask me if I was OK. So it really annoyed me when after i said yes they asked again like I was full of shit on my answer. I am fine honestly it's not like I didn't know this was coming. Yeah the date moved from January to today but I am glad he left today. He is getting to go and pursue his dream of becoming a Marine. To be a part of something, to have a chance at progression in life. As where Cairo, Ga was just wearing him down. Making 20 year olds into senior citizens that should be on the sign when you enter the city.
Actually i think I like the fact that he went today. That means he home quicker and I know more of what is going on. Like where we are moving to and I can start my schooling. A whole new life will begin and as hard as it may be an adventure it will be.
